Design IV4  is a Mumbai-based, multidisciplinary design and construction practice working across Architecture, Interior Design, Industrial Design, and Construction. Founded in 2012, the studio has grown from a single design vision into a full-fledged practice that carries projects from the very first sketch to the final handover — without losing coherence along the way.

At its core, Design IV4 is built on the belief that architecture should be forward-looking, not just functional. We design with an eye on how spaces will be used, adapted, and lived in for years to come — not just how they'll look on the day they're completed. This means constantly rethinking conventional approaches to space, material, and structure, and staying open to newer methods, technologies, and design languages as they emerge.

What sets the studio apart is the rare combination of design ambition with construction depth. Because our foundation includes real, on-ground execution experience, we don't design in isolation from how a project will actually be built. Every concept that leaves our studio is tested against structural logic, material feasibility, and site realities — so ambitious design ideas translate into buildable, durable, cost-effective spaces, rather than staying on paper.

This construction fluency is reinforced by our strong network of contractors, structural consultants, material suppliers, and workshop partners, built over more than a decade of practice. It allows us to move seamlessly from design to execution, maintaining control over quality and detail at every stage — something few purely design-focused studios can offer.
